Four Nation Tournament 2017 Supported by Winmau
Belgium are the hosts for this year’s Four Nation Darts Tournament on 25th and 26th March. This is the second edition of the event which sees teams from Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands battle it out on the oche to claim the title in their category. The 4 categories to be played in are Men’s, Women’s, Boys and Girls, with both group and individual titles up for grabs in each, with all matches played on the class-leading Winmau Blade 5 dartboards.
The Group competitions will take place on the Saturday, with Singles and Pairs matches taking place to crown one nation the winner in each category. Last year’s event saw the Netherlands crowned Men’s, Women’s and Boy’s champions with Germany picking up the trophy in the Girls category.
Sunday will see the Individual titles contested. Last year’s Men’s Singles Final saw Team Winmau’s Danny Noppert defeat fellow countryman Wesley Harms 5-4. Belgian Nicole Delie claimed the Women’s title, defeating Vanessa Zuidema in the Final. Another 2 Dutch victories followed with Maikel Verbeek winning the Boys trophy and Kyana Frauenfelder the Girls.
The event will be hosted at the Corsendonk Hotel De Linde in Retie, Belgium and looks set to be a great weekend of darts!
