Mitchell to Compete in HAL Open Darts and HAL Masters

VENRAY - Former BDO World Champion Scott Mitchell will be competing in HAL Open Darts and HAL Masters. Mitchell currently is second in the BDO rankings and last December he competed in the Finder Darts Masters semi-finals. The BDO’s number seven Darryl Fitton and darts legend Tony O’Shea will also be making their appearance in Evenementenhal Venray on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March.

The addition of these names gives the pool of potential winners more and more prestige. Earlier registrations already included reigning European Champion Richard Veenstra, former World Champion Jim Williams, triple World Champion Martin Adams, title defender Geert de Vos, and Dutch darts legend Co Stompé.

With these three new names, Mitchell, Fitton, and O’Shea, the list of potential winners keeps growing. Fitton is in top form and last January the number seven of the BDO rankings managed to reach the Lakeside semi-finals. Team Winmau’s Danny Noppert proved too strong for him then and went on to compete in his first Lakeside World final.
