Winmau are pleased to announce the launch of the Winmau Hong Kong Challenge in Spain, which will see the country’s top darts stars competing for an all-expenses paid trip to take part in one of the world’s largest softip events – The World in Hong Kong. This tournament offers 100,000 euros to the winner.

Winmau are working closely with their Spanish distributor DardosMania to run events across the country. 6 tournaments will be held in Spain to determine which 2 players will participate in the final play off at Bare Nostrum in Madrid on September 8^th 2012. The 6 events will take place in the following locations:

Madrid: February 25^th

Levante: March 17^th

Catalonia: April 7^th

Galicia: May 13^th

Andalusia: June 24^th

Aragon: July 14^th

The winner of the final play off will have their expenses paid for as they compete in the prestigious Hong Kong tournament. Paul Lim was the champion of The World in 2011 (winning 100,000 euros) and the overall prize fund this year is an incredible 225,000 euros.
